Serve on a committee
Our committee members get a front-row seat to the heart of our work. Their time, dedication to our mission, and thoughtfulness contribute greatly to the Foundation. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please fill out our volunteer application and indicate that you would like to be considered for a committee position. Check out our current committees below:
Alumnae Relations Committee
Although girls can only receive one grant from the Ann Bancroft Foundation, we want to maintain a strong connection with our grant alumnae after they have used their grant. The Alumnae Relations Committee works to find ways to engage our alumnae with ABF and our partner organizations after they have completed their funded activity. It takes a lot of work to figure out how to best use our funds. This committee plays a large role in reviewing our annual budget and making sure we stay on track in order to award as many grants for Minnesota girls as we can. For a more detailed description, click here.
Granting & Evaluation Committee
Granting is the heart of our work. Twice a year, this committee convenes to review grant applications and make the final selections for each cycle’s grant recipients. The committee also interviews girls after they complete their activity to learn more about the impact our grant had on them. For a more detailed description, click here.
Marketing & Communications Committee
Branding is everything, even for nonprofits. This committee focuses on brand awareness with targeted audiences, comprehensive communications plans, and building visual identity in concert with upcoming organizational initiatives. For a more detailed description, click here.
