Annual Event Committee

The Annual Event Committee plans, manages, and executes the large annual event of the Ann Bancroft Foundation usually held in April. The full committee will meet four to five times (September, November, January, March and one week prior to the event (if needed)). Additional meetings for sub-committees will be held at the discretion of the sub-committee chairs.

Committee Requirements:

  • Attend all committee meetings either in person or via conference call (one absence allowed).
  • Promote the event on social media and in personal and professional networks.

Committee Charge:

  • The Committee works to ensure a successful fundraising and friend-raising event. The Committee creates an event that reflects the mission and values of the Foundation. The Committee works to meet the goals – revenue and other – as set by the Board of Directors.

Committee Membership:

  • The Committee membership is comprised of friends of the Foundation who oversee various subcommittees managing various functions of the event. The Foundation Development and Events Manager is the Staff member assigned to the Committee. The Board Chair, Development Chair, and Foundation Executive Director are also members, but not bound by the meeting attendance requirement.

Committee Authority:

  • The Committee will prepare and execute all RFPs and contracts concerning the event.
