Alumnae Program Committee

Provide grant and mentor alumnae the opportunity to continue their relationship with the Ann Bancroft Foundation through connections with leaders and personal development experiences.

Committee Requirements: 

  • Committee members must attend in person or virtually 75% of meetings annually.
  • Committee should consist of a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 12 from a variety of backgrounds and interests that can contribute to the execution of the goals. 
  • Meetings will be held quarterly with the potential for additional sub-committee meetings as needed.
  • The committee can make decisions when a quorum is present through voting procedures.  The board, prior to execution, must approve requests for funds outside of the program budget and RFPs.
  • Partner with other ABF committees for maximum effectiveness.
  • At least one board member must serve on the committee in a leadership or participatory role.   

Committee Skills/Strengths Desired:

  • Experience engaging youth in meaningful experiences (teacher, coach, mentor).
  • Willingness/ability to engage on a grassroots level with alumnae (phone calls, email, transportation, organizing).
  • Strong organizational skills and experience with social media.
  • An open mind and heart to the diverse lives, backgrounds, and dreams of our alumnae.

Committee Members:  Responsible for the organizing, advising, and execution of programming related to the committee goals.  Members will be grant and mentor alumnae, teachers, school social workers and counselors, coaches, and other partners with experience related to the mission of ABF.
