How to apply

- Applications are reviewed for completeness before being sent to the grant committee.
- The grant committee thoroughly reviews each grant application.
- You’ll hear back about your grant status within 7-8 weeks after the deadline.

Activities must be completed within one year of the grant award:
Spring: Finish by May 30 of the following year
Fall: Finish by November 30 of the following year
Note: Grant awards do not imply our endorsement of activities or mentors. It’s up to you and your family to ensure the activity is safe and appropriate. -
An adult who serves as a positive influence and support to you in reaching your goals by offering advice, encouragement, and guidance. For example, your mentor could be a teacher, coach, school counselor, neighbor, or community member.
Ideally, a mentor is someone who doesn’t live in your home, as we aim to foster mentorship relationships with adults outside your immediate family. If mentorship is a barrier to applying, please reach out to the Ann Bancroft Foundation. -
Any group, organization, or individual that plans and facilitates activities to help improve quality of life and well-being. Examples include sports teams, art classes, outdoor programs, or community organizations.
