THURSDAY, APRIL 13, 2023 | 5:30 - 9:00 PM
THE DEPOT – MINNEAPOLIS RENAISSANCE HOTEL
When was the last time you dared to dream bigger for yourself? The last time you faced a threshold of change and possibility, did you feel uncertainty, excitement, fear, curiosity, courage, and anticipation? Who was by your side, surrounding you with reassurance, encouragement, hugs, and belief in your dreams?
Every year, the Ann Bancroft Foundation meets hundreds of girls on their journey of possibilities and supports them as they explore their dreams and imagine something bigger for themselves, through grants, mentorship, and ongoing development opportunities.
These moments between dreaming, action, and excitement for the unknown are not easy, but when we invest in girls who Imagine Something Bigger for themselves, we are supporting them as they cross that same threshold. We are equipping them with the confidence to explore, the freedom to try, the opportunity to discover, and the resilience to bounce back if their idea doesn’t work the first time. Your support is the critical voice saying, "you can" and “why not?”
Join us on April 13th to celebrate and honor the threshold of bravery that girls cross every day when they choose to Imagine Something Bigger.

MEET OUR IMPACT AWARD WINNER
Special recognition goes to our Impact Award Honoree, Gloria Perez, President & CEO, Women’s Foundation of Minnesota (WFMN), a women-led community foundation investing, supporting, and lifting the livelihoods of women, girls, and gender-expansive people across the state.
As the first and largest statewide women’s foundation in the country, the WFMN has distributed more than $30 million through community investments. WFMN conducts ongoing research on the status of women and girls in Minnesota, advocates for public policy that results in greater economic security and safety for women and their families, and invests in organizations and leaders to build the field and achieve gender and racial equity.
“Mentors have been instrumental in my leadership journey, and now I think of the power I have as a community leader and the importance of using that power to transform lives by offering the guidance and support young people need to find their path and to feel a network of support.” ~ Gloria Perez
MESSAGE FROM OUR EVENT CO-CHAIRS, PAHOUA AND JAMIE
When we were asked to co-chair the Event Committee for this year’s annual celebration, we said yes not only to Ethelind, the Ann Bancroft Foundation, but to each other and, quite frankly, to ourselves too.
Recently, we both dared to dream something bigger for ourselves. Perhaps the two of us were seeking sisterhood support to navigate career and life changes, or maybe it was to find something meaningful to channel our renewed sense of courage. Likely both and so much more.
One thing is for sure, it’s not hard to think back to when we were little girls, dreaming big dreams for ourselves. And even now, as adults, that little girl still lives inside us... pushing us to imagine something bigger.
That’s why we’re excited to co-chair the Ann Bancroft Foundation Annual Celebration because we want to spread the magic that is girls daring to believe in themselves.
We can’t wait to see you on April 13 and hear about the last time you faced a threshold of change and dared to dream big for yourself.
