Sarah Strehl

Sarah Strehl is a Human Resource professional with over 25 years’ experience spanning a variety of industries, geographic locations and HR specializations. She leads with energy and inclusivity—creating an environment that inspires all individuals to thrive, using their talents to deliver against the company’s mission and drive value for the organization.

Since May 2015, Sarah has been the chief human resource officer at ECMC Group. She works closely with the Board and executive team to ensure the human capital strategy and people-related processes, policies, and decisions for ECMC Group align with the overall mission of the organization. Sarah is particularly passionate about the development of female leaders, starting the organization’s first women mentor program and co-sponsoring the Women Thriving employee resource group. Prior to joining ECMC Group, Sarah held a variety of HR leadership roles at Capella Education Company and Cargill, Inc.

In addition to her role at ECMC Group, Sarah serves on the board of the Minneapolis Downtown Council. She is married to CJ and mother of four amazing and busy teenagers – Sophia, Charlie, Jake and Sam. She loves travel and adventure and is hoping to find time to advance her cooking skills. As a Wisconsin native, and graduate of the University of WI-Madison business school, she can be found on the weekends energetically cheering on her Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers.
