Vikki's bold dream is to travel to all fifty states. So far, she has been to eleven states. Vikki will be using her ABF grant to travel to New York with her school choir. Some planned highlights of the trip are seeing a Broadway show and touring Times Square. Vikki is also very interested in the history of New York, especially 9/11. Vikki used her previous ABF grant to travel to Nashville, Tennessee with her school choir during her junior year. Vikki really enjoyed learning about a new city and its history, as well as seeing how it differed from her hometown of Eden Prairie.

Vikki is currently on her high school varsity badminton team. She is involved in her church community, including helping in the church nursery. Vikki also participates in Kaleidoscope, a social club that teaches various skills. Vikki has created a music album with her group, as well as learned about college applications, and can get support with homework there.

Vikki shared, “I am proud that I am a good teammate. This matters to me because I get joy out of helping people. I also believe that teams are strongest when everyone works together. I enjoy being around others and I feel that I thrive in environments where I can collaborate, support my teammates, and build positive connections while working towards shared goals"
