Georgia will use her grant to take violin lessons this year. After participating in her first Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant, Georgia wanted to learn to play the violin like Pa from the Laura Ingalls Wilder books.

“I am taking violin lessons so I can play the violin in the pageant,” Georgia shared. “I told my violin instructor about my dream and we are working on note reading, pitch, and rhythm in my weekly lessons that will help me work toward me playing in the pageant. I want to grow my ability to read and play music besides just listening and singing music.”
