The Ann Bancroft Foundation accepts contributions through our newsletter, direct appeals, and through our Awards program.
How your money is spent
Contributions are used to support the programs of the foundation specifically in the following ways:
- To support the Dare to Dream Micro Grant program by providing grants of $100 to $500 to adolescent girls. We grant no less than $50,000 each year to girls. To date, 570 girls have received grants totalling over $210,000.
- To support the production of the Ann Bancroft Dream Maker Awards and to provide $4,000 in scholarships to our four recipients.
- To provide support for our newsletter and website plus our website resource directory for girls' programs.
- To encourage and support programs with girls' organizations.
- To provide outreach and communication on outstanding programs for girls.
