Our committee members get a front-row seat to the heart of our work. Their time, dedication to our mission, and thoughtfulness contribute greatly to the Foundation. Although girls can only receive one grant from the Ann Bancroft Foundation, we want to maintain a strong connection with our grant alumnae after they have used their grant. The Alumnae Relations Committee works to find ways to engage our alumnae with ABF and our partner organizations after they have completed their funded activity. Every year, this committee works tirelessly to plan and execute our largest event of the year. From choosing the theme, to securing auction items, to volunteering at the event, committee members play a large role in every element of our Annual Celebration. It takes a lot of work to figure out how to best use our funds. This committee plays a large role in reviewing our annual budget and making sure we stay on track in order to award as many grants for Minnesota girls as we can. For a more detailed description, click here.
Granting is the heart of our work. Twice a year, the this committee convenes to review grant applications and make the final selections for each cycle’s grant recipients. Branding is everything, even for nonprofits. This committee focuses on brand awareness with targeted audiences, comprehensive communications plans, and building visual identity in concert with upcoming organizational initiatives. For a more detailed description, click here.
For 20 years, ABF has been something of a best kept secret. Now, it’s time to get the word out to potential applicants, grant alumnae, and potential partner organizations across the state.
