Ann Bancroft Foundation and its generous donors and mentors help girls take the first steps toward fresh possibilities. Through a grant, girls have opportunities to realize their dreams, grow through healthy outlets, and obtain personal growth they may not have been able to realize otherwise.
A Dare to Dream or Let Me Play grant funds experiences for girls, or equipment costs that allow them to be part of a team. Through the funded experiences, and with the mentors’ guidance, girls gain new perspectives on their own abilities and goals. They grow through healthy outlets and obtain personal growth they may not have been able to realize otherwise.

Dare to Dream and Let Me Play grant recipients have had a wide variety of adventures. Our donors and mentors have helped girls tour with a choir, take boxing lessons, attend space camp, learn a foreign language, play sports, and learn to play an instrument. The possibilities are limitless. As girls explore the outside world, they also begin to recognize their own abilities, values, and strengths.

No matter what interest a girl pursues through her ABF grant, her mentor will nudge her to use the experience as a springboard to the next exploration, and through their grants girls discover new self-confidence and self-knowledge as they open their eyes to the broader world, and to new possibilities within themselves.
