The Ann Bancroft Dream Maker Award Program
Now in its 15th year, the Ann Bancroft Dream Maker Awards event honors and encourage the achievements of girls and women. Each year we honor a girl and a woman for achievement and leadership, and an individual and an organization for support and encouragement. The major fundraising event for the foundation, the Ann Bancroft Foundation Dream Maker Awards annually hosts community members, business and non-profit leaders, former award winners, and friends of ABF.
Dare to Dream and Let Me Play Grants for Girls
These programs provide small grants of $100 to $500 to girls ages 5 through 10th grade who have a dream and need the financial and caring support of adults in order to achieve that dream. Grants are given in two rounds, in the spring and fall. The Dare to Dream Program targets girls who have a dream to experience an arts, cultural, educational, or outdoor/wilderness experience. Let Me Play grants are for sports, athletic, or dance participation fees or equipment. An average of 150 girls receive grants each year.
