KATIE LAUER

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

KL Head Shot (002).jpgKatie closely identifies with the mission of the Ann Bancroft Foundation - having grown up as a female in Minnesota who has benefited from a strong support system that has continuously encouraged her to pursue her dreams. She most recently comes from Carleton College where she worked in the Summer Academic Programs Office facilitating pre-college programs for high school students, professional development for high school teachers, and conferences and events for community organizations. Her work at Carleton was dedicated to giving access and opportunity to all students through grant funding for need-based financial aid in addition to creating and fostering a supportive campus community throughout the summer. Katie was also an assistant coach with the Carleton Women’s Basketball Team from 2016-2018 where she not only enjoyed being a coach, but also being a mentor, role model, and friend. As a graduate of St. Olaf College, Katie holds a degree in Studio Art and Media Studies and is a freelance photographer and designer in her spare time.
